Grade 12

“I transferred from a local public school to Trillium School in Grade 11. I didn’t have a good experience in my old public school, and I am so happy that I made the move to Trillium where I enjoy the small class sizes, dedicated teachers, great teacher-parent communication, STEM courses, and a variety of extracurricular activities – all things that I wasn’t getting at my previous school. I have won several Certificates of Distinction and Medals of School Champion in the CEMC and COMC math contests. I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to my guidance counsellor who is very responsible and gave me really detailed, comprehensive, and individualized guidance on my university application and course selections. With her help, I’m very proud that I have received offers from all the universities I applied to, including University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, UBC, and McMaster University. I will be attending University of Waterloo to study Mechanical Engineering (Co-op) this September, the best engineering program in Canada, which is also my first-choice university and program! Trillium has changed my life. Thank you for everything Trillium has done for me!”

“Trillium has strong academics. The teachers are so nice and helpful, and I really appreciate their diligent contributions. Overall, I feel the faculty care about students with a strong sense of responsibility to every student and try hard to help them succeed. In 2018, I was admitted to U of Toronto, UBC, U of Waterloo and McMaster U. I finally went to my dream school – U of Toronto (St. George) to study Statistics and Psychology, and also received $7500 entrance scholarship. I still stay in contact with Trillium following my graduation as I formed close bonds with many teachers, enjoyed their homelike boarding environment, and visit it from time to time.”

“I would like to thank all Trillium teachers for your hard work and strong sense of responsibility. You are so caring and loving to students. Your dedication and passion towards education are impressive and highly respectable. Trillium’s academic standard is very high, and your enriched academic and co-curricular programs have equipped my son with the necessary tools to achieve success in his life, guided and prepared him for his post-secondary goal in education, and helped him clarify his career directions. My son has been awarded a Certificate of Distinction and Medal of School Champion in various University of Waterloo Math Contests throughout his years at Trillium. In 2019, he got offers from all the universities he had applied to, including University of Toronto, UBC, University of Waterloo, Queen's University and McMaster University. We are particularly proud that he successfully got into his first-choice program: Computer Science (Co-op) at University of Waterloo with $5000 entrance scholarship, which is the best computer science program and also the toughest university program to enter in Canada! He has really learned a lot at Trillium and now has the confidence to strive for more success in the university and beyond.

I think Trillium is one of the best private schools in the GTA at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!”
